How it works
Professional disbudding helps reduce the risk of horn-related injuries to both animals (goats/calves) and handlers, supporting a safer on-farm environment.
MPI approved procedures, best practise and specialist equipment are used to keep the process smooth, efficient, and low-stress.
Local anaesthesia is applied to prioritise comfort and minimise stress throughout the procedure.
Our team arrives fully equipped with everything required, including Te Pari calf bails.
Each disbudding site is treated with antibiotic spray and pain relief to support proper healing.
All equipment is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between farms, maintaining consistently high standards of care.
